Laser Tattoo Removal Near Secaucus, NJ

A twenty-minute highway run from Secaucus to a physician-run PicoWay® laser room in Paramus — free parking, evening and Saturday slots, and one price for the whole course.

Quick answer

Secaucus residents reach Laser Eraser's Paramus office at 193 NJ-17, Suite C in typically around twenty minutes under normal traffic — west on Route 3, then north on Route 17. A physician performs every PicoWay® session, complete removal is quoted as one flat package, and the consultation is free.

Twenty Minutes Up Route 3 and Route 17

Secaucus is one of the simplest towns in Hudson County to reach us from. Route 3 runs across the north end of the town, and following it west to Route 17 northbound puts you at 193 NJ-17, Suite C in Paramus in typically around twenty minutes under normal traffic.

There is no complicated section to the trip. You stay on two highways, the second of which the office sits directly on, and you park in our lot at no charge instead of hunting for a space.

Landmarks make the directions easy to hold in your head: if you can get yourself to the Harmon Meadow area or onto Route 3 near the Meadowlands, the rest is a straight highway run. It is one of the few places where an appointment genuinely fits inside a lunch hour.

Booking Around a Secaucus Junction Commute

Secaucus Junction is one of the busiest transfer points in the NJ Transit network, and a large share of the town uses it to get into Manhattan every weekday. A treatment plan that only offers weekday-afternoon slots does not survive contact with that schedule.

Our answer is Tuesday evening hours and Saturday appointments at both offices. Route 17 through Paramus is a retail corridor, so an earlier Saturday slot generally beats a mid-afternoon one for the drive.

Because the course runs across months rather than weeks, the appointments that actually get kept are the ones that were convenient to begin with. We would rather set a rhythm you can hold to than book an ambitious schedule you end up abandoning halfway.

What Happens at Your Free Consultation

Nothing begins until you have sat down with a physician for a free consultation. We look at the tattoo — size, colors, age, placement, whether it was applied professionally or by hand — and at your skin type, then give you a realistic estimate of the number of sessions along with a firm price for the entire course.

Most tattoos need roughly eight to twelve sessions to clear completely, spaced several weeks apart, but that is a starting range rather than a promise. Some pieces finish sooner and some take longer, and you will hear which end of the range yours is likely to land on.

If the goal is fading for a cover-up rather than a clean slate, say so at the start. That is a much shorter course, and it is planned and quoted differently.

  • Free consultation with a physician before anything is booked
  • Honest session estimate specific to your tattoo, not a generic number
  • Firm price for the whole course given the same day
  • Cover-up fading planned and quoted as its own shorter course

Careful Work on Melanin-Rich Skin

Skin tone changes how a laser has to be used. Deeper skin holds more melanin, melanin competes with the tattoo pigment for the laser's energy, and pushing the settings too hard can leave post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or a lightened patch that outlasts the tattoo itself.

The safe approach is unglamorous. Start conservatively, look closely at how the skin responded, lengthen the intervals if it needs more time to settle, and accept that the course may run a session or two longer than it would on fair skin.

Laser Eraser is physician-led and doctor-administered, founded by three board-certified physicians — Dr. Alvaro Alban, Dr. Len Hobson, and Dr. Dominic Ruocco — so the person weighing those trade-offs is the same person holding the handpiece.

No Per-Visit Surprises on the Bill

Complete removal is priced as a single flat package covering every session, assessed by the size of the tattoo. It is deliberately not a per-visit charge, because per-visit charges keep the total hidden until you are already several appointments deep.

You leave the free consultation with an exact figure and no obligation to use it. Financing is available, nothing is added afterward, and fading-only plans are quoted separately because they involve fewer sessions.

If an employer policy or a specific date is driving the removal, mention it at the outset so the sequencing can account for it — the most visible part of a piece can be treated first while the rest follows at its own pace.
