Getting started
We recommend a free consultation so a physician can assess your tattoo or scar, explain your options, and give you an exact quote. Many patients are also seen the same day if they choose to begin.
Yes — every consultation is complimentary and carries no obligation to book treatment.
A physician. Laser Eraser is a doctor-administered practice, not a spa — every laser session is performed by a physician for your safety.
Often, yes. Dr. Alban specializes in large, multi-color, full-back, and sleeve tattoos that many clinics turn away, using advanced PicoWay® technology.
The process & results
Most tattoos need 8–12 sessions with the PicoWay® laser, spaced several weeks apart. Ink color, age, depth, skin tone, and body location all affect the total. Your package covers every session needed.
Sessions are quick — often just a few minutes for small or medium tattoos — because the PicoWay® picosecond laser works so efficiently.
Sessions are typically spaced several weeks apart to let your skin heal and your body clear the fragmented ink between treatments.
Yes. Many patients only need a few sessions to lighten a tattoo enough for a clean cover-up. Just tell us your goal at your consultation.
Fading is gradual and continues between sessions as your body clears the ink. Many patients notice visible lightening within the first few sessions.
Pain & safety
Most patients describe it as quick rubber-band snaps. Because PicoWay® pulses are so short, treatment is fast and typically more comfortable than older lasers — many say it hurt less than getting the tattoo.
When performed by a physician on correct settings, it's very safe. Doctor-administered care lets us calibrate for your skin tone and minimize the risk of scarring or pigment change.
Scarring is uncommon because the laser targets ink, not surrounding skin. Physician oversight and proper aftercare are the biggest factors in a clean result.
Yes, with the right settings. Physician calibration is essential for darker skin, which is exactly why our doctor-administered approach matters.
Cost & financing
Every tattoo is priced individually — cost depends on size, ink colors, age, and skin tone. Our Complete Removal Packages bundle all the sessions your tattoo needs into one flat price (sized from Extra Small up to 1 sq in through XXL 25–88 sq in). Book a free consultation for your exact quote.
Complete removal usually takes 8–12 sessions, so a single flat package price is simpler and more predictable than per-visit billing — one price covers every session your tattoo needs, with no surprise charges.
Yes. Start with a free consultation for your exact quote, and if you'd like to spread the cost, flexible payment options are available with no hidden fees and no hard credit pull to check.
Tattoo removal is generally cosmetic and not covered by insurance. We offer free consultations and transparent flat-rate pricing instead.
Aftercare
You'll keep the area clean, protected, and out of the sun as it heals between sessions. We give you simple written instructions and are always available for questions.
It's best to keep the treated area protected from sun exposure and use sunscreen, since UV can affect healing and pigment. This matters especially during summer treatment.
Once the area has fully healed and your physician confirms the skin is ready. If your goal is a cover-up, we'll fade the tattoo to the point your artist needs.
Scar & pigment removal
Yes. The same PicoWay® platform is calibrated differently to treat acne scars, keloids, surgical scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation, pigment spots, and more.
Both use laser energy, but scar treatment targets dense collagen and uneven pigment to remodel skin texture and tone, while tattoo removal fragments ink particles.
Often 3–6 sessions depending on the scar type and depth, with improvement continuing for months as new collagen forms. Your physician will set expectations at your consultation.
